Yes. This itinerary is designed for couples, and our Romantic Luxury and Ultra-Luxury tiers include a private vehicle and guide throughout the Masai Mara, so you won't be sharing your game drives with other travellers.
On Day 4 you take a light aircraft from the Masai Mara, connecting via Nairobi to Ukunda airstrip on the coast, a journey of roughly 2-3 hours in total. Our team handles all connections so the transfer is fully assisted.
The balloon safari is an optional add-on, separately quoted. Many honeymooners consider it one of the highlights of the trip, drifting silently over the Mara at sunrise before landing to a champagne bush breakfast.
For the Mara, pack neutral-coloured clothing, a warm layer for cool mornings, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, hats and insect repellent. For Diani, bring swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, and light beachwear. A small daypack for game drives and a soft-sided bag for the coast are both useful.
