Your 6-Day Journey
From Nairobi arrival to your final drive back to the city — every day crafted for maximum wildlife encounters across three of Kenya's finest parks.

Arrival & First Game Drive
Depart Nairobi by private 4×4 and drive south past the Chyulu Hills into Amboseli National Park, with Mount Kilimanjaro rising on the horizon. After lunch at your lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive among the park's famous free-roaming elephant herds.

Full Day Among the Elephants
Rise early for a dawn game drive as Kilimanjaro's snowcap catches the first light — the classic Amboseli photograph. Spend the day tracking large elephant families through the swamps, with buffalo, giraffe and over 400 recorded bird species along the way.

Into the Great Rift Valley
Drive north through Nairobi and down into the dramatic Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Nakuru in time for an afternoon game drive. This fenced sanctuary protects both black and white rhino, and its soda lake shoreline often turns pink with thousands of flamingos.

Cross the Mau Escarpment
A scenic morning drive over the Mau Escarpment brings you down into the vast grasslands of the Maasai Mara. Settle into your riverfront camp before heading straight out for an evening game drive in search of the reserve's resident lion prides.

Full Day Predator Safari
A full day of dawn and dusk game drives across the open Mara plains, tracking lion, cheetah and leopard alongside enormous herds of zebra and wildebeest. Enjoy a bush picnic lunch out on the savannah between drives, with an optional visit to a local Maasai village.

Sunrise Drive & Farewell
One last sunrise game drive across the plains before breakfast at camp. Begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon in time for your onward or international flight home.

What Our Guests Say

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often.
This is a road safari, so travel days involve 3–5 hours of driving on scenic routes with regular stops. All transfers are in a 4×4 with a knowledgeable driver-guide, as specified in your quotation, so the drives themselves are part of the experience.
We recommend neutral-coloured safari layers (khakis, olives, tans) for game drives, a warm layer for cool early mornings and evenings, comfortable closed shoes, and a hat and sunglasses for the open plains.
Applicable national park entry fees for Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara depend on your itinerary and quotation — your specialist will confirm exactly which authority charges apply to your trip.
Absolutely. We can extend this circuit with additional nights in the Mara, add a hot air balloon safari, or combine it with a beach extension to Diani or Zanzibar — all on request.
June to October offers the driest conditions and the best game viewing, coinciding with the Great Migration in the Mara. Amboseli and Lake Nakuru are excellent year-round, though the short rains (Nov) bring lush, quieter scenery.
